LITE-ON Technology (2301-tw) today reported its December consolidated revenue of NT$16.1 billion, declined 4% M-o-M and 5% Y-o-Y, excluding the transferred mobiles phones camera module business revenue. Thanks to stable end demand from core businesses, cumulative sales for the entire year of 2018 totaled NT$207.1 billion.

Opto-electronics business segment contributed a 14% share of total sales, of which, invisible LED and LED vehicle lighting posted ongoing growths.

Information Technologies business accounted for 66% of sales. Shipment growth of high-end server and networking power management systems and server enclosures for cloud computing, coupled with ongoing market share gains in HIS (Human Input Solutions - PC Keyboards and Peripherals) drove Information Technologies a consecutive yearly growth in December.

Meanwhile, the Storage segment accounted for 16% of total revenue. Thanks to strong demand from cloud computing application, the segment posted a consecutive yearly growth.
